Not having a good day.

Parents left to go to a wedding on Thanksgiving weekend when I come home from school, home alone tonight because my sister's working, have a stomach ache from the yogurt I just ate despite taking several lactose pills, I'm fully dressed with make-up and everything, and then plans for the night got ditched. And now I can't even focus on my studying for my upcoming Abnormal Psych midterm.

The frequency of posts for just this one day may indicate to you how my day has been going. Boring, unproductive, and a disappointment. Sucks to have this attitude on Thanksgiving weekend. But cut me some slack, my parents aren't even home to enjoy this lack of turkey with me.

Happy Birthday Rachel

Just a birthday shout out to my long-time friend, RACHELAU. Happy twentieth. And you go "downtown that shit"! I won't be thurr because of Abnormal :( I am abnormal :(

Amazing A Cappella: Mike Thompkins

Check out this awesome vid. All instruments are produced vocally! My housemate Yoonji showed this to me.

Teenage Dream:

Fireflies - I love this one. He sounds very similar to Adam Young of Owl City:

Headband Love

Yummy headbands! I'm not a frequent wearer (partly because I am attached to my specs, therefore making it more difficult to wear headbands) however I'm a huge fan, when worn right! Dan Humphrey from Gossip Girl had it wrong when he told Blair to lose the bands!

Here are a few cute ones that I came across while surfing the interwebs.

Knitted ones! Maybe I can make one...

Hippie bands! Gives simple outfits an edge when worn right. I feel like my hair is too prone to flatness and thinness to sport these hipster headpieces.

"Natural" headbands. Braids are so in, and for good reason too :)  Unfortunately my locks are too short and layered to be wrapped around my think tank.

Looks good on her.

Ooo these are so cute and appear to look good on almost everyone!  Definitely on my wish list.

The plumage party headpiece is one that I could never pull off. Probably because of my small frame. And my smallness overall.

I change my mind about the last photo caption. This plumage headpiece is cute, smaller, and more subtle than the previous one. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for plumage pieces such as this!

It's Not Winter YET!

These are some pictures I took in the summertime. October is rolling in and the weather is getting cooler. No sign of snow in Ontario yet; I would be concerned if there were. Mornings are always freezing so I would always wake up cold :( Depending on whether or not the weather wants to be nice to me, I would dress for the morning weather (can't walk to campus in shorts at that hour duh!) but may have worn too much for the afternoon weather. However, sometimes it would remain cold and/or wet all day :(. That's the Fall season for ya, I guess.

I love these photographs because nature in the summer just looks so warm and cheery, yearning to burst with life. Looking back at these photos make me feel a little warmer. At least warmer towards life, if not physically haha. I hope they do for you too :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Kingston weather has been all over the place recently! But today was a nice day. Shining warm sun with just a little breeze :)

I just had my last class of the week and am now celebrating by eating this delicious slice of focaccia that I bought from Canadian Italian Appreciation Organization (CIAO clever hehe), which some of my housemates (Alex and Christina) are apart of.
So yummyy. It's basically just bread with herbs and stuff!

Anyway, I'd just like to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving because it's Thanksgiving weekend this weekend in Canada! Time to pack for Ottawa soon. Yay for hometime :) But boo for needing to study during this weekend. Can't wait to see everyone though!
